Frequently Asked Questions

Status and Launch
We are planning pilot start in Q3 2026 and public launch in Q4 2026. Schools that sign up to the waitlist now are prioritised and will be kept informed by email.
We are looking for 5–10 schools to test SafeSchool at an early stage. Pilot schools help us shape the product, participate in regular feedback sessions, and receive the product free of charge during the test period. See the pilot program page for more information.
Not in a production environment yet. We are in active development and plan pilot start in Q3 2026. Register your interest via the pilot program and we'll contact you when the time comes.
GDPR and Data Protection
All data is stored in Azure Sweden Central within the EU. The school is the data controller and SafeSchool is the data processor. We sign a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with every school before starting. See our privacy policy for details.
No. All data is stored in Microsoft Azure Sweden Central in Gävle and Sandviken. No data is transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA.
We export all your data in a structured format (JSON/CSV) and then delete all data from our systems within 30 days of the agreement ending. This is regulated in the DPA.
Technical and Setup
No. SafeSchool is a web-based service that works in all modern browsers: computers, tablets, and mobile phones. No IT department involvement is needed to get started.
No. Parents and guardians communicate via a personal, encrypted link that the school sends them. They need no app or login. Just open the link in any browser.
API integration with external systems is on our roadmap but not included in the first pilot program. Export functionality for Swedish Schools Inspectorate reports is planned for launch.
Features and Coverage
Yes. SafeSchool supports offensive treatment (Education Act ch. 6), discrimination (Discrimination Act), accidents, and other student incidents, with the correct documentation flow for each category.
Yes, that is a core feature. Municipality administrators get a consolidated view of all schools' cases, trends, and statuses, without seeing sensitive details that belong to each individual school.
Pricing and Terms
Pricing will be set ahead of the Q4 2026 launch based on pilot feedback. Pilot schools are free during the test period and will be offered a preferential rate at launch. No long-term commitment is planned.
No. Our plan is monthly billing with no lock-in. We believe you'll stay because SafeSchool is valuable, not because you're locked in.
